Feburary Films

Feeling bad, I spent too much in movies.. not really they were cheap... will give

me something to watch when feeling bad ... and I feel bad again this evening. Or

just something different for a bit more variety.

I have 15 or 20 of these in other film packs already BUT the 30 or 35

I do not have and there are 2 films in particular I really wanted in this set.

I'm sure there will be a handful of them I'll enjoy that I haven't seen. 

December Films

Not horror but... The Ten Commandments has two beloved 

horror film stars in the movie: John Carradine and Vincent Price. 

It's an outstanding film. Ben-hur is really good too.  

Both films have amazing casts and are enjoyable.

Rearranged

I finally have 'Murder' Legendre "White Zombie" in the center! 

I balanced out The Invisible Man with Dracula (Carradine). 

Works well for me. YES I need to clean there glass again!! LOL. 

Vampires

It took Alucard well over a week in New York (I tracked him floating around in a mail truck in NY, NY) then landed in Memphis - then here today!! -- I'm guessing he was in need of blood lol... but I'm happy with the way he looks on the wall! -- I love this look Chaney & Chaney!! I think I 'll keep it this way... Love it too much!

July Films

Holy cats - this set sky rocketed in price after they were sold out at 

Amazon to well over $100 for awhile. Well, I found a copy -unopened - 

at Amazon from a Good Will selling it for about $10!! I have the one 

with Spencer Tracy but was need (well want) of the Fredric March 

Version -- that is a fantastic film... but then again so is Tracy's 

and Barrymore's (which I acquired in a film pack) :)

New Photos

Found this Basil Gogos stamp art for sale at a really cheap price.

I had to have it! I can't afford any of Gogos' orginals but to 

have this stamp art print on the wall would be an honor for me. 

Should add some lovely color in the werewolf room.

Feb. 5 1906 then came Chaney (Jr) Feb 10 1906. 

Oh well it's a very small mistake I can live with lol.

They didn't say they were going to more of these in stock. So I'm guessing this is the last of this particular set. 3 good Peter Cushing films. I've seen these but been a long while. My birthday is coming up so I got myself this set for just less than $20.

April Films

This is one killer werewolf film. $6. They say it's not much of an anniversary addition - not a lot on the DVD but the price is right for the film. 

March Films

I forgot to post March Films so I'm doing it now. Playing "catch-up" today. 

This is a great 4 pack for 3 films. I did not like the remake of 'Body Snatches'. Watch  'Invasion of the Body Snatches" 1956 and the 1978 version for good films.  Now the film 'Coma' is excellent and so are the 2 werewolf films Bad Moon and Wolfen. $8 - about $2.67 per film for the 3 good films (which is how I count this collection) or $2 per film if you count the horrible 

1993 'Body Snatchers' film.
